Web Cars 2 — Deleting your account
You can delete your Web Cars 2 account yourself, from inside the game, on any device — in a web browser at webcars.fun or in the app. It takes two steps and the second one arrives by email.
If you can no longer sign in, write to eula@webcars.fun from the address the account uses and we will delete it for you.
1. Open your profile
Sign in, open the menu and choose Account. At the bottom of your profile is a red card: Delete my account.
Pressing it opens a warning screen listing what goes. Nothing is deleted yet, and Keep my account is the button that holds the focus — a stray key press is always the safe answer.
2. Confirm through the link we email you
Choosing to go ahead sends a link to the address on the account. Your account is still there when the dialog closes; the link is what deletes it.
The link lives for 15 minutes and works once. Asking again replaces it, so the newest email is always the one that works. We confirm by email rather than on the button because a signed-in session is not proof that the person pressing it owns the address — a borrowed phone or a shared browser can press a button, and cannot read your inbox.
What deletion removes
Confirming the link permanently removes:
- your email address and your password hash,
- your settings, your star rating on every track, and every car and track you unlocked,
- the terms version you accepted, and your affiliate and referral records.
What is kept, and why
Anonymous play counts — which track and car were driven, how long a run lasted, whether it was finished — remain. They never carried your email address, and after deletion nothing links them to you. They are what tells us which tracks people play, and they are deleted automatically after about 13 months.
Deletion is permanent and there is no undo. Registering the same address again creates a new account that starts from nothing.
If you cannot sign in
You do not need a working sign-in to have your account deleted. If you have lost access — a forgotten password you cannot reset, an address you can no longer read — write to eula@webcars.fun from the address on the account, or tell us what it is, and we will delete it. A real person reads that mailbox and we act within 30 days.
The same address answers requests to see, correct or export the data we hold about you.
